The objective is the development of an experimental quantum key distribution system. The system will be designed to be used as an experimental device in quantum networks with standard mono-mode fibers, in the conventional band. These systems offer very high cybersecurity which, theoretically, can be absolute. The work will be carried out at the Institute of Optoelectronic Systems and Microtechnology. The successful candidate will work as a research engineer under supervision in the area of quantum communications.
